The Story of How Davey Goosmann Began
Dee Davey
Davey Goosmann Realty first began with Dee Davey, a highly respected real estate professional with 40+ years of experience in the North Texas Real Estate Market. She has worked for RE/MAX, Coldwell Banker, Wm. Rigg, and has owned her own companies over the years. Her longevity in the industry stems from her love of education and self-betterment. She is an Accredited Buyer Representative, a Certified Residential Specialist, and a Certified Luxury Home Specialist. These accomplishments in her education throughout her career have enhanced the service she is able to provide to her clients and the high-level mentorship she can provide to her agents.
Dee Meets Bob Goosmann
Dee met Bob Goosmann back in 2009 who at the time worked with the local news station. He had lived in Mansfield, TX for many years and Dee had quickly become the areas go-to real estate agent. So, he asked her to help him sell his house. 2009 was inarguably a very tough time in the housing business, yet Dee managed to sell Bob's house quickly and at the price he requested. She proved the rumors to be true. Her skill and talent in the field were undeniable.

A few years went by before the two saw one another again. Bob had begun to disapprove of the shift he saw as the news turned from factual and practical information to a more theatrical, entertainment-style airing. He began to consider changing his profession to a home appraiser. Before starting his new career, he asked Dee for lunch and together they discussed his new career path. She told him he was a real estate agent at heart, not an appraiser. Soon after their lunch, Bob began taking classes to become a certified real estate agent and embarked upon this new exciting journey of life with Dee as the perfect mentor.
Davey Goosmann Is Born
Once he finished his classes, Bob joined Dee's team in 2012. He was determined to learn all that he could from her about being a successful agent with a local presence like what she had built for herself over the years.
They officially joined forces in 2018 to open what is now, DAVEY GOOSMANN REALTY, an independent local agency providing personal attention to clients and agents. Bob says, “These past 11 years have been some of the best years of my life.”

The brokerage's commitment to North Texas and Mansfield specifically is exhibited through its support of the MISD Education Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, Parks Board, Historical Society, and Common Ground.
