Gertie Barrett Park opened in April of 2023 as the city's newest neighborhood park. The property, located off Gertie Barrett Road near Business 287/Main Street and Garretson Lane, was purchased years ago to serve as future parkland and was the highest priority project in the northwest quadrant of Mansfield in our 2020 master plan. It includes a splash pad, restrooms, walking trail, playgrounds and open space.
